I am a huge Bulls fan and have been since the 1980's. CBSsports.com selected me to be the official Bulls team blogger but don't be too hard on me if my grammar or spelling is off time to time. My passion supersedes my ability at times. Most of my blogs will be directed at the Bulls and the NBA in general. Please reply. I like to hear others thoughts.

Boozer has been a thorn in my side ever sense there was talk of the Bulls being interested in him a couple of years ago. I protested as much as a fan could last offseason when it became clear that Boozer was again on the radar. I tossed my hands in the air in disgust on my drive home from work when I heard of the actual signing. I screamed at the radio when I heard he “tripped” over a duffle bag and broke his wrist. Sure, there were a handful of games during the regular season that he looked like a nice fit, but they were few and far between. During the playoffs his game was horrid, only overshadowed by Derrick Rose’s inability to hit a shot. Now the offseason is here again breathing down my neck. Again, the Bulls are “one player away from contending”. What now?

Okay, so Heat fans are going to certainly jump on me for this idea as well as others, but I have mentioned in the past that the Heat should trade Chris Bosh to create a more balanced team. They, as in the Heat players and coaches, keep telling us it is only a matter of time before they gel. I am not buying it. How long did it take for Jordan and Pippen to gel with a player they hated named Rodman? Oh, that's right, that was the season the Bulls won 72 games. On there own the big three in Miami are great players, with Bosh being a tier lower then Wade and LeBron. I also understand that the real chemistry issues are with Wade and James and not so much with the thrid wheel named Bosh, but the Heat are never going to trade LeBron or Wade. They simply would never get enough assets in return for either of the superstars for it to make sense for them. Bosh could be traded however and i think I found the perfect team.

Well I was just looking at the Power Rankings at NBA.com and this week they have the teams Pace, Offensive Rating, and Defensive Rating listed next to each of the teams. Something pretty odd stood out to me. While I knew that the east's elite teams were better at defense then that of the wests, I did not know how dramatic the difference was. On the flip side the west's elite teams are much better on the offensive side and it is not really close. It is just strange to me that each of the top 4 teams from each conference play such different basketball. Let us take a look at the numbers.

Defense

East.

Celtics- 97.7 (2nd in the NBA)

With the Bulls going into the All-star weekend with a huge victory over the league leading Spurs, the Bulls appear to be firing on all cylinders. The Return of Noah should only add fuel to the fire that is the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls have won 17 of their last 23 games which equates to a .739 winning percentage. Let’s look at 5 ways that Noah’s return could spell out the Bulls getting home court in the Playoffs.

5. Easy Adjustment

Of all the important players on the Bulls, Noah is the easiest one to move back into the lineup without disturbing the flow of the team’s offense or defense. The Bulls are simply going to move Kurt Thomas to the bench and insert Noah. Noah does not demand the ball or disrupt things on offense. In fact his abilities on the glass and knack for making plays and running the floor instantly makes the Bulls better on all fronts.

Well the Allstar Game is over and we can move on to "real" basketball. The weekend, was for the most part, a waste of time to watch. Between watching the NBA field guys that cannot even shoot three pointers for the three point content and Griffin being handed the slam dunk contest, I really felt sick as a gazed at the TV. The actual Allstar Game itself was okay, but it was cool to see Kobe Bryant win the MVP even with LeBron doing all could to win it for the east. Anyways, I felt that right now was a good time to throw out my top ten lists. These ARE for play this season so far and for play I expect to see for the rest of the season. I have a Top 10 for each position and Top 20 for players overall and for Top 10 teams. Let us take a look.

Now that we have a good portion of the season done with and with the Allstar break coming up I think we have enough information to form a comparison between the super team that is the Heat and the super team that was the Bulls. I chose to compare the Heat against the 91-92 Bulls because it was Jordan's 8th season in the NBA and we are now in the 8th season's of both Dwyane Wade and LeBron James. This is not an attempt to bash the Heat or the Bulls for that matter, but to look closely at the roster formula that both these teams use/used and see just how far away the Heat are from becoming a dynasty.

First we should look at the individual stats from the two key players on both teams and compare.

91-92 Bulls

Jordan: 30.1 ppg, .519 FG%, .270 3P%, 6.1 apg, 6.4 rpg, .9 bpg, 2.3 spg, 2.5 tpg

While the Magic have not been a super elite team this season they have been fairly solid. Dwight Howard is putting in another season with MVP-like numbers and is the front-runner for the DPOY. The Magic made that big trade and at first it looked like a great move but now I am not so sure. The main issue is Hedo Turkoglu or the Turkish Delight. He offers the Magic a player that can shoot from just about anywhere and that can also play the point-forward. The problem is his defense. He has to be the worst defender of all the starting small forwards in the league.

Last night allowing LeBron James to score 51 is insane, but that maight happen to anyone right? However Turk has had his share of defensive issues over his career and he now should be a major concern to any Magic fan. While the magic have the best bigman in the league, the other elite teams in the east at least have somewhat respectable players at the center position. The Boston Celtics have Perkins, Shaq, and even Big Baby to throw at him. The Bulls have Noah, Thomas, and Asik. The Heat have.... Oh I forget. Anyways, the Magic's biggest strength has been their play from Dwight, but the lack of a starting small forward might be their undoing come playoff time.

Okay, so we all are aware that the Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov yesterday dropped out of the Carmelo Anthony sweepstakes during a press conference. Yesterday it was also reported by YahooSports' Adrian Wojnarowski that the infamous Worldwide Wes is going to Chicago and sources are saying that Melo's "people" are going to try to work a deal with the Chicago Bulls.

This past summer the two sides talked about a trade and neither side would budge on two sticking points. The Bulls wanted to package Deng and his 40 million dollar contract as a centerpiece to any deal, but the Nuggets wanted no part of taking on the extra cap. Also, Denver wanted Joakim Noah and the Bulls flat out said no way. It is hard to think that a deal could ever be put together between these two teams alone. A third team would certainly have to be part of the deal.

Okay, it has been a while since I dropped a blog so I thought now was as good a time as any. I have always felt that the Hornets and Bulls of recent had some very similar teams, but I really think I struck something while researching a bit. This seasons Bulls team has a ton in common with the 07-08 Hornets and in a way I find is a bit scary, because the Hornets did lose in the 2nd round, but I could see the same thing happening to the Bulls. So let us take a look down memory lane and find some eerie similarities together shall we?

The Paul/Rose Factor. In 07-08 it was CP3 third season, just as it is Rose's third season, but that is just the cherry on the top of the cake. Paul had his breakout season that year with 21ppg, 11.6rpg, 4rpg, and 2.7 spg, just as Rose is having his with 24.5ppg, 8.1apg, 4.7rpg, and .376 3P%. At the time Paul was on the short list of players to become the MVP. I remember thinking he should have won the Award, but in the end Kobe became the MVP and CP3 finished 2nd in voting. Not to shabby for a 3rd year player. Paul became a household name. All of these things seem to be in the works for Rose as well. He is at the top or near the top of every MVP rankings I have seen, and while he may not be quite as good as CP3 was and is, Rose is certainly now a household name and a superstar. Rose will also be landing some votes for the MVP award if he continues to carry the Bulls. I just find this very interesting, that both of these players broke out bigtime in the third season, but this is only the begining of how the Bulls and Hornets mirror eachother.

Okay, so we know that Joakim Noah is going to miss 8-10 weeks do to his thumb injury. I think if the Bulls do nothing and play with the players they have that they should continue to play well. their schedule is finally going to be soft for the next 30 games and they should be able to win at least half of those if not 20 of them. However, there are those out there that seem to think the Bulls will not be able to rely of Omer Asik and Kurt Thomas to fill the hole. I think they will be fine with a healthy Boozer and a vet like Thomas for the time being, but there is a trade that could happen that would help out both teams. Here it is:

Bulls send Kurt Thomas, James Johnson and Keith Bogans to the Magic for Marcin Gortat and Malik Allen.

Well, I was just looking at the standings and noticed one team in the east and one in the west that were supposed to make some noise this year but look like they may not even make the playoffs. I thought it would be interesting to write up each team a bit and debate which team will or will not make the playoffs. Here we go...

The Bucks. With a rosters including Jennings, Maggette, Salmons, Redd, Gooden, and Bogut, some thought they could challn=enge the Bulls for the Central. I am on record myself in this idea. I really thought they had a nice mix of talent and a solid starting five. In the preseason they looked pretty good against my Bulls, but I guess that really does not count. Injuries have been an issue, but it is far from their biggest. They simply cannot score. They remind me of the Bulls a few years back. The Bucks are dead last in the league in scoring at 91.18 ppg as a team. With players on the roster (even without Redd) you wuld think they would be able to score at least 95 per game if not more. So then you have to go to their defense. With Scott Skiles at the helm you would think they should be in the top 10 in most catagories, but they are not. The only stat that they crack the top ten in as a team is Rebounding differential which is at +1.64 and ranks 9th. Nothing very special there. The stat that stands out the most to me is Opp FG% which they rank 20th at .446%. Not really looking like a Scott Skiles team. The also rank dead last in assist per game at a crappy 17.65 per.

Well we are about 15 games into the season and it is fair to say that we have a decent sample now to produce a better and more accurate rankings. Again I am only looking at the Top 10 teams. These are the teams that look like they are contenders or close to it at this point. We will alos look at my picks for the Sexy Seven, players that have been plating great since my last rankings. So let us begin.

1. Spurs (10). As long as Ginobili, Parker, and Duncan can stay healthy, I see no real end in sight to their great play. We all new they would be a top 5 team in the west, but nobody thought they would come out of the gate the way they have. Not only are they racking up wins but they are wins against above .500 teams. There is no illusion here, the Spurs are for real. Can they keep this up? Can they stay healthy? Those ar the only two questions I have for this team, but if they are playing like this in the playoffs, then the Lakers are in trouble.

Before we know it the trade deadline will be just around the corner and one name is all the talk. Carmelo Anthony. At this point all the rumors have pointed to either him simply staying in Denver, or pushing for a trade to either Chicago, New York, or New Jersey. All three teams have nice trade bait for Denver to consider, but only one of them will land him. So, which team is most likely to land him? You have to consider things such as New York being his home and the chance they might add Chris Paul, Chicago being so close to being a contender and being a defensive minded team that he knows would be a top team if he were to choose them, and New Jersey being so close to home with some nice young players. Or will he wait out is time until the summer and then look for a team?

Okay, it is well known that Carmelo Anthony is likely leaving Denver at some point. It could be as early as next week or at late as next summer, but the guy is leaving. The three teams on his list are the Knicks, Bulls, and Nets. I am not exactly sure what the other teams are willing to trade to land him but I am sure they can both offer nice packages as both have some nice young players. The Bulls have stated that they will not part with Noah in any deal for Melo and it is easy to see why. Of course Rose is not going anywhere and I think it is very unlikely that the Bulls will offer Boozer on December 15th simply because he is the scoring bigman that this team has needed for years. that leaves really only one offer that the Bulls can make and this is it.

I think we as Bulls fans are starting to see a pattern here. Rose leaves the game to rest and C.J. Watson comes in and we go from either winning or close to it, to losing by 10+ within minutes. The Bulls need two things outside of a healthy Carlos Boozer to make them a real contender.

1. A play-making back up Point Guard. Not a scorer that makes bad choices with the ball like Watson. We need Lindsey Hunter from 5 years ago or something along that lines. Losing Kirk Hinrich is proving to be a much bigger hit to this team then most thought.

2. We need a starting Shooting Guard that can score and defend. In short we need a real starting shooting guard. Brewer looks far from a starter as does Bogans. both are good defenders, but look lost on offense. Korver is an average defender at best and most SG can blow past him, so he is better as a small forward anyways.

Well most teams have 4 to 6 games under their belt so I think we have a small taste of what teams look good early off and what teams should be able to establish themselves as forces for the rest of the season. I only want to look at the top 10, because that is all that really matters right? If you make the top 10 then you are either a contender for the title or real close to it. Outside of the top ten and you have some issues to deal with or you simply are a bad team.

Well let us take a look at the Top 10 teams thus far.

1. Lakers. How any other team could be ranked number 1 is beyond me. The Lakers are clearly the best team in the league. Kobe looks like himself and should still be considered in the running for the MVP, but the real stars of this team are the newly added Matt Barnes and Steve Blake. These two smaller pickups were well thought out by Laker's brass and have been a big part of the Lakers early success.

If you could take any player from your teams roster and switch him with any player from another roster, who would you swap out and why?

2. If you could be one NBA player for one game, which one and why?

3, If you could be one NBA player off the court for 1 day, which one and why?

First off I would like to say happy Halloween to everyone. I thought it would be fun to poke a bit of fun at the ugly and scary looking NBa players. So if a mask was made for any NBA player which one would scare the most people?

Here are seven masks that I came up with and why I think they would scare people.

1. Delonte West. Scary because you would be afraid he would sleep with your mom.

2. Joakim Noah. I am his biggest fan, but his face is just so messed up looking.

I know I have come across as a flat out hater lately, so I thought I would clear a few things up and apologize for a few of my comments. I may have pushed this Heat hater business a bit too far and I am sorry. Most old time posters know me more as a quite guy that just likes to write about my Bulls. But this summer I got cought up in this whole LeBron mess just like most other people. I too was hoping that he would choose to come to Chicago, so yes I felt a little burned. What i am most sorry for is making fun of the city of Miami or even the fans of the Heat. I understand that there are true fans for all teams, even the Clippers. lol. So if I bent someone wrong, I am sorry.

The real point of this thread is to discuss the difference between a team hater and a player hater. I am not a team hater and I know that i have come off as one lately and again I am sorry. I am however a player hater, and i think we all are to an extent. There are just certain players that rub you wrong for one reason or another. I have had a long history of not liking Rajon Rondo becuase I think he is a dirty player and I did not like his hit on Brad Miller or Kirk Hinrich in the playoffs 2 years ago. I really hated that team even more when Garnett started mouthing off all the time. I never liked Paul Pierce that much after the whole wheelchair deal. Then they added the thug Nate Robinson to the mix. To top it off they added Rasheed Wallace who I have hated for years, dating back to him laughing at the Bulls bench during games with the Pistons. So for a small moment in time I was a Celtic hater. Not because I hate Boston fans or the city of Boston and not because I hate the Celtics as a team, but because I did not like the vast majority of players they had. It did not help that they won game 7 in perhaps the best playoff series i have ever seen.

Here is a 3-way trade I was considering that would include the Nuggets, Bulls, and 76ers. There have been a few rumors that the 76ers wanted to swap Andre Iguodala for Luol Deng recently. I am not sure how true these rumors are, but they are just rumors. I am not certain this is a great idea for the Bulls as Luol, if healthy, is a great fit. Iggy is a better defender and a better slasher, but not by much and Deng is a better shooter and is now nailing threes. However, Carmelo if Carmelo wants to play for a bigger market and with a better cast then the Bulls might be a great option. I lineup of Derrick Rose, Carmelo Anthony, Carlos Boozer, and Joakim Noah, would have to be a contender right? So I ran this trade on ESPN's Trade machine and it works. What do you think?

I thought the idea of a shoe disigner was to make the best product for their market? Well I guess if you add a spring in the sole of the shoe then the NBA is bound to ban it. That is just what Athletic Propulsion Labs has done. they have added a spring and test are showing increases in jumping ability. I really do not care about this shoe or it's being banned, but rather it brought two questions to my mind right away and I would like to hear your responses.

1) What was the biggest gimmick basketball shoe you ever purchased?

2) Which NBA player needs a pair of these spring shoes most?

I have an answer to the 1st questoin right away as it really was the reason I started this thread. To talk about all the crazy basketball shoes over the last 2 decades or so. The first goofy pair of BB shoes I ever owned wee a pair of Reebok pumps. The 1st generation ones with the basketball on the tongue of the shoe. Living by Chicago I my I could not find any pair in Bulls colors so I went with a horrid purple/orange/white combo. Man were they ugly but so cool at the same time.

I must make it clear as to what I term as an ASSASSIN Team. I am not refering to a crappy team that somehow makes the playoffs or a low to middle seed playoff team that wins the the NBA Finals. What I am looking for is a borderline playoff team that somehow makes the playoffs and grabs the 8th seed and knocks off the top seed in the first round. Think of the Warriors knocking off the Mavericks a few seasons ago. They then went on to lose, but the damage was done. That was a peret expample of an assassin team. Against the odds they killed off a much greater foe.

So which of these four teams do you think could sneak into the playoffs and knock out the top seed in the East or West, likely but not certainly the Heat or Lakers.

Wizards. With John Wall looking like a stud early on and with Josh Howard returning at some point and a guard rotation of Wall, Arenas, and Hinrich the Wizards could be a crafty and quick team. Andray Blatche continues to grow this team might have the pieces to pull off an upset. Another key will be the play of Yi Jianlian.

...I do have a few opinions and I shall lay them out as likes and dislikes. So here we go.

Like. Kyle Korver Looked really good and a great fit for the Bulls with all the screens we run. I knew he was a great shooter but I did not know he was so good of a shooter off a pick. He has a very quick release. I think the Bulls need to strongly consider starting him at the 2 guard as much as possible. His defense looked above average as well. I really like tis kid and it finally looks like we have a solid scorer to replace Ben Gordon.

Dislike. James Johnson still looks lost. He looks like he is in great shape, but He makes bad choices with the ball in is hand. He seems to think he is a point guard, but he lacks the skills to be a playmaker. His drives to the rim remind me of Andres Nocioni in his rookie season. Out of control!

Okay, so it is time to start blogging again with the preseason starting this week and all. I am so happy the season is finally here and what a great season it could be for many teams that made big moves this summer. I think it goes without saying that the Miami Heat made the biggest moves but a few other made some solid moves as well including my Bulls. So where do the bulls stand in the East now? How many games should we expect them to win in the regular season? How well will each player perform? Will the Bulls make it out of the first round tis season? There are a lot of questions to answer so let us get started. I will first break down each player and then the team as a whole. I hope you enjoy.

The Players.

Derrick Rose. Rose is certainly the new face of the Chicago Bulls and the first Allstar we have had since MJ and this being his third season we should get an idea of what we have here in Chicago. Most Superstars become superstars in the third season. Will Rose? Maybe. I do not think he will enter the ranks of Dwight Howard, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Dwyane Wade, But I think he will become a bigtime player. A seond tier Superstar if you will. Last season he ranked 14th in point per game and I see him moving into the top 10 even with the addition of Boozer. Derrick has had to holes in his game in the past. One being his ability to hit from downtown which looks to be vastly improved, but the other issue, his defense, is still a big question mark. Rose has the size, strength, and speed to be a very good defender, he just needs to get there mentally. Coach T is a good fit to help Rose become the best player he can be and I think Rose will shine this season. His assist numbers should move up a bit with the addition of Boozer and Korver who both hit a high percentage from the floor and his scoring should increase a bit if he is sharing the backcourt with Brewer who is more defense minded.

Well with it being a Tuesday morning and all, I thought it would be fitting to roll out a nice little poll thread. Many a time on these very boards have we ranked and debated the best players in the history of the hardwood. We have even listed the best second options ever and battled over it, but I want to go one step more. I want to bring forth a challenge to my fellow posters here the CBS boards. Can you rank the top 10 best thirf options to ever play in the NBA? This is not an easy task. I mean how many great players were the third option on their own team? Look at your favorite team right now. Who is your team's third option? Are they any good? Whould you call them an all-time great? Most likely not. I know Luol Deng is far from great.

Well most people understand that the city of Chicago is world renowned for it's love of Jazz music and the city is still a jazz hot spot in America, but this is not the jazz I am referring to. I am pointing to the fact that the Bulls three free agent signings this offseason have all come from the Utah Jazz. The more I think about it the more I like the idea of a team name swap between the Bulls and Jazz. I mean there has to be far more cows in Utah then in the city of Chicago right? I digress. The real point of this thread is to look at the moves the Bulls have made and determine their place in the east.

Carlos Boozer. It seems pretty clear to most fans and experts alike that LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh planned on playing with eachother from the get go. The only real question was were it was going to happen and in the end that place was the Miami Heat. That being the case the Bulls' management has made all the right moves with what was left. I am on record for liking David Lee for the Bulls over Carlos Boozer mainly because I felt that Lee would come cheaper. I was wrong. Boozer ended up being the cheaper option and in many ways the better fit. The Bulls have been lacking a back to the basket scorer since Elton Brand was traded away ten years ago. To be a contender a team must have an inside out game. Just about every championship team in history had a playmaker/outside scorer coupled with a scoring bigman. You will be hard pressed to find a historic team that lacked one of those two. The Chicago Bulls of the 90's are clearly the only dynasty to lack a star bigman. Boozer gives the Bulls one of the best offensive bigman in the game today and when I say offensive I do not just mean scoring. Boozer is one of the best passing bigman in the game and he is also one of the best at running the pick and roll and the pick and pop. He also knows were to be to grab offensive rebounds and he is also good for setting a solid pick. His defense is average but is better then Amar'e Stoudemire's or Chris Bosh's. He is a hustler and a perfect fit to play alongside Joakim Noah.

Okay, I am starting to get a bad feeling about this whole free agency process. I am really starting to read and hear things that I am not liking. For one thing I do not trust Dwyane Wades false desire to play with the Bulls. Just a couple of weeks ago he was throwing out false lies about the Chicago Bulls in order to form his super team(LeBron, Bosh, and Himself) in Miami. I think his 2nd meeting took place to throw the Bulls off guard and distract them. Meanwhile the Knicks look to be adding Amar'e Stoudemire which could very well appeal to LeBron James. There is also word that Chris Bosh wants not only the max but he wants it via a sign and trade so he can get a 6 year deal instead of a 5 year deal. The Bulls have players to make the move for Bosh but so do many other teams including the Houston Rockets. Some are saying Bosh is strongly considering Houston.

Okay, as a Bulls fan myself I too have been wooed by the prospect of landing both LeBron James and another superstar player. The problem is is that we as Bulls fans need to come back down to earth and look how far we have come and make the right moves during this free agancy. Sure acquiring LeBron would be great but we need to be careful to not put all our eggs in one basket. Sure we have a nice shot at signing him. Perhaps as good a chance as any other team aiming for him, but focusing on him is a big risk. A risk i do not want to take. I think the Bulls brass are wise to this as their gameplan heading into this thing makes a ton of sense.

Waiting for LeBron James is a death wish if you ask me. There is a good chance he may stay in Cleveland. We all know the Dwyane Wade is staying with the Heat so he is off the table. This is why the Bulls need to go after Chris Bosh with all they have. offer him the Max deal right away. Tell him he is the guy that you want to build a Championship around. What has been the biggest hole on the Bulls over the last decade? One has been a supestar level player that can win games by himself. The Bulls have player that is growing onto that role in Derrick Rose, but the other big hole has been a elite scoring bigman. Chris Bosh is not a lot of things but one thing he is is a scoring bigman. He can hit the jumper and can score in the paint. Sure he is a bit soft and shies away from contact. He is also not a great defender, but he sure can score and grab rebounds as well. Joakim Noah does the other stuff. i think a pairing of Bosh and Noah has great dynamics. They are a perfect match.

Ok, kmvenne here is my final attempt to shine a bit of light on this issue. In your thread you wanted to compare the top 4 players on both teams that are signed for next season. I think there is no argument that can be made as to the Knicks having a better roster then the Bulls. You can argue that New York is a better and bigger market and you can even use the Michael Jordan's shadow to debate your side but you cannot argue that the Knicks hae a better roster then the Bulls and still be considered sane.

I will make my arguement as simple as I can using one stat. I will compare each teams top 4 players in order and a clear picture should be made. I will simply use the NBA Efficiency Score. Sure the Efficiency score is not full proof but it does give a solid overall value to a player. I will use this seasons regular season stats as the Knicks missed the playoffs again. Ouch!

This is it. I cannot take it anymore. Too many people have no respect for the basketball that was played in the 1990s. False labels have been plastered on it from people who were not even old enough to have watched a single game from the decade. Some call it a soft decade were no defense was played. Other point that there were no other good teams except the Chicago Bulls. This is a heeping pile of bull crap! The 90s were full of great teams both in the east and the west and outstanding defense was still played because the newer rule changes were not in effect. Shooters were murdered on the floor. Hand checking was not even heard of. But I now know the real reason there is no respect for the 90s. It is quite simple.

The reason for no respect is due to the fact that neither the Lakers or the Celtics were any good in that decade. Sure the Lakers were okay at the start of it when Magic Johnson was still playing. You see the NBA is so owned by these two franchises that as fans we simply believe that the 90s lacked any real competition for the Bulls because they did not have to face a good Celtics or Lakers team. This is crazy. The Knicks of the mid 90s were a great team. They played gritty and nasty defense. They were as good a team as any other team to reach the eastern conference finals in league history for the most part. People make it out as if the Bulls had it easy. False. The talent level was great in the 90s. The early part of the decade had the Pistons and the Cavaliers in the east for the Bulls to contend with. Then it was the Knicks, Magic, and Pacers. Even the Heat and the Hornets had good stretches in the 90s.
